Mangos: Restore glycogen restores (which is the fuel we burn when working out). They are also high in antioxidants. Antioxidants have extra electrons, and donate them to free-radicals in the body. Free radicals are uncharged molecules that have a missing electron, they search through the body for electrons to steal, causing more harm within the body. Eating antioxidants helps to repair those damaged cells, neutralizing them and creating balance within the body.
Chia Seeds: High in protein and fiber
Spirulina: High in protein, nutrients and antioxidants
Ground Flax Seeds: High in healthy fats
Cinnamon: Balances blood sugar
Green Powder: A healthy dose of greens in the body. Barley, wheat grass and chlorophyl are nice ingredients to look for.
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen mango
1 cup water
1 cup coconut milk/almond milk
1 tbsp spirulina
2 tsp tropeaka ultra cleanse
(or a green powder)
3 dashes of cinnamon
optional 2 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flax seed oil (or ground flax seeds)
Add everything to a blender and bend for 1 minute until smooth.
