In Fundamentals of Yoga Part 2 we will be exploring different yoga asanas (poses) than in Part 1, as well as practicing breathing techniques (pranayama) such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) and Breath of Fire.
Sarah will take you through a fully guided, slow moving class with detailed cueing to educate you on several asanas. In Part 2 we will explore strength and stability, focusing on muscle engagement and body awareness. There will be plenty of hands-on adjustments and assists to help you better understand what the pose should feel like for your personal body. We will move intelligently, allowing our breath to guide us. This class is for all level students. Come with an open mind and a gentle approach as we dive into the fundamentals of yoga asana.
